Smoked turkey wings are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are made by smoking turkey wings over low heat for several hours, which gives them a smoky flavor. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a casual meal at home.

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

    Practice

    step 1

    Preheat your smoker to 250℉.

    step 2

In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.

    step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil and apple cider vinegar.

    step 4

Toss the turkey wings in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.

    step 5

Brush the turkey wings with the oil and vinegar mixture.

    step 6

    step 7

Let the turkey wings rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

     TIPS:

    1. Use a good quality wood chip for smoking, such as applewood, hickory, or mesquite.
    2. Don't overcrowd the smoker, or the wings will not cook evenly.
    3. Baste the wings with the oil and vinegar mixture every hour or so to keep them moist.
    4. Let the wings rest before serving so that the juices can redistribute.
