Ingredients
- 1 pound bratwurst sausages
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Practice
step 1Preheat grill to medium heat.
step 2In a large saucepan, combine beer, onion, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins.
step 3Add bratwurst to the saucepan and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
step 4Remove bratwurst from the saucepan and let them rest for 5 mins.

step 6Grill the bratwurst for 5-7 mins per side, or until browned and cooked through. Insert the meat thermometer into the thickest part of the bratwurst. The internal temperature should be 160 ℉.
